Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms regarding financial transactions, or the lack thereof, between RESYD ("the Platform") and its two primary user groups: Consumers (Buyers/Sellers/Renters) and Professional Partners (Licensed Real Estate Agents/Brokers).

1. For Consumers (Buyers, Sellers, Renters)

Service is Free of Charge

RESYD does not charge consumers for the use of its platform, access to market data, or the professional matching service. Since no payments are collected from consumers by RESYD, there are no refunds to be issued to consumers.

Third-Party Fees: Please note that any fees, deposits, or commissions paid to third-party real estate professionals, landlords, or title companies are governed by the contracts you sign directly with those parties. RESYD is not responsible for, nor can it facilitate, refunds for payments made to third-party service providers.

2. For Professional Partners

Professional Partners (Agents and Brokerages) utilize a transaction-based referral model. Our policy regarding these fees is as follows:

Success-Based Referral Fees

Referral fees are only earned and due to RESYD upon the successful closing and funding of a real estate transaction. If a transaction fails to close for any reason (e.g., financing falls through, inspection issues, or client withdrawal), no referral fee is due to RESYD.

Non-Refundability of Earned Fees

Once a transaction has successfully closed and the referral fee has been remitted to RESYD by the participating brokerage, that fee is considered fully earned and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds if a client later decides to sell the property or if a landlord-tenant relationship is terminated prematurely.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute regarding the origin of a lead or the validity of a referral agreement, Professional Partners must contact our billing department at hello@resyd.co within 30 days of the referral introduction. We review all disputes on a case-by-case basis through human audit of our territory-matching logs.

3. Subscription & Advertising Fees

If RESYD offers premium advertising or "Territory Lockdown" subscriptions to Professional Partners in the future:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: Payments for monthly recurring services are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time to prevent future billing, but no pro-rated refunds will be issued for partial months.
  • Technical Failures: In the event of a documented platform outage exceeding 72 consecutive hours that prevents the delivery of lead services, a pro-rated service credit may be issued at the sole discretion of RESYD.

4. Modifications

RESYD reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
